Our goal with this project is to help marketers, entrepreneurs and web analysts understand the state of mobile marketing and apps measurement. The data produced should benefit everyone in the industry and that’s why I’m sharing the opportunity to contribute with our community here.
Mobile is clearly an important channel that savvy marketers are already embracing. You would have to be living under a rock to not see the trend, with adoption moving fast. As noted in a post on our blog on next generation measurement, we’re seeing mobile now accounting for 8% of all conversions in Google Analytics and that mobile conversions have grown by about 180% in the last year alone.
